Miranda Lambert Announces New Album Postcards From Texas

Miranda Lambert has announced her ninth studio album, 'Postcards From Texas', set for release on September 13, marking her debut with Republic Records. The album features 14 tracks, including previously released songs 'Wranglers' and 'Dammit Randy', and introduces the new single 'Alimony', co-written with Shane McAnally and Natalie Hemby. Lambert, who produced the album alongside Jon Randall, describes it as a musical homage to her Texas roots, encapsulating a variety of styles from ballads to honky-tonk tracks. The album also includes a duet with Parker McCollum titled 'Santa Fe' and a cover of David Allan Coe's 'Living on the Run'. Lambert reflects on her evolution as an artist while maintaining the fiery spirit from her early work. This project showcases her growth while celebrating her enduring connection to her home state of Texas.
