CBFC Approves Ravi Teja's Mr Bachchan After Edits

Ravi Teja’s latest film 'Mr. Bachchan' has opened to mixed reviews, with fans praising his energetic performance but criticizing the film's overall execution and storyline. A standout element is Siddhu Jonnalagadda's cameo, celebrated on social media for adding a spark to the film. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) mandated several changes before granting the film a U/A certificate, including replacing a poster featuring Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha with one of Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, and removing scenes with cuss words, blood, and a child smoking. Despite these modifications, the film is expected to be a major draw at the box office, particularly as it is a remake of Ajay Devgn’s 2018 film 'Raid'. The movie will clash with Ram Pothineni and Sanjay Dutt's 'Double iSmart' during its release on August 15, benefiting from an extended opening weekend.
