Shane van Gisbergen Joins Trackhouse Racing for 2025

Shane van Gisbergen will join Trackhouse Racing as a full-time driver in the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series, driving the #88 Chevrolet. The New Zealand-born driver, a three-time Supercars champion, currently competes in the Xfinity Series with Kaulig Racing, where he has secured three wins and a playoff spot. Van Gisbergen will race alongside Ross Chastain and Daniel Suarez, making Trackhouse the only team with three full-time drivers from different nationalities. Stephen Doran, who previously worked with Zane Smith, will serve as the crew chief for the #88 team. This move follows van Gisbergen's impressive NASCAR debut, winning the Chicago Street Course race in 2023, and his continued adaptation to oval racing.
