15-Year-Old Boy Drowns in Delhi Rain

A 15-year-old boy named Sourabh drowned in a waterlogged road in Delhi's Chanakya Puri area after heavy rains, with conflicting reports emerging about the circumstances surrounding his death. Initially, police indicated he drowned while playing with friends, but officials from the New Delhi Municipal Council suggested he was struck by a car. Sourabh's family, still in shock, rushed him to a hospital where he was declared dead on arrival. In related rain-related incidents, two other individuals also died from electrocution in separate incidents across the city. The police are reviewing CCTV footage and conducting investigations to clarify the events leading to Sourabh's death. The heavy rainfall has caused significant waterlogging and traffic disruptions throughout Delhi, prompting numerous complaints to local authorities.
