PFA Player of the Year

Erling Haaland of Manchester City is vying for the PFA Player of the Year award for a second consecutive year, having scored 38 goals across all competitions in a season where City secured their fourth straight Premier League title. He is joined on the shortlist by teammates Phil Foden and Rodri, as well as Chelsea's Cole Palmer, Arsenal's Martin Odegaard, and Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins. Foden also had an impressive season, netting 27 goals, while Rodri played a crucial role in both City's success and Spain's Euro 2024 victory. Palmer had a standout year with 22 goals and 11 assists, making him a dual nominee for both the Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year awards. The winners will be announced on August 20 during a ceremony at the Manchester Opera House. In the women's category, Chelsea's Lauren James is also nominated for both awards, aiming to make history.
