Participants, such as first-time runner Anesha Bonelli, expressed excitement about the unique views and the community spirit the event fosters. The city implemented extensive road closures and parking restrictions from early morning until post-race, advising drivers to seek alternate routes to avoid delays. As a rain-or-shine event, the organizers assured that any extreme weather updates would be communicated promptly. Proceeds from the race benefit local charities, with this year’s donations going to Friends of FDR Park.
