Major Ganja Seizures Across Andhra, Tamil Nadu

Several major ganja seizures have occurred recently across various districts in Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. In Rajahmundry, police seized 265 kg of ganja in three separate incidents, while another operation in East Godavari led to the confiscation of 262 kg. Anakapalli district police intercepted a lorry carrying 912 kg of ganja worth over ₹50 lakh. The Tambaram Prohibition Enforcement Wing in Chennai arrested two individuals for smuggling ganja and heroin, and Coimbatore police caught a guest worker with 34 kg of ganja-laced chocolates. The Andhra Pradesh police department is proposing an Anti-Narcotic Task Force to combat the rising ganja menace more effectively.
