Jaishankar Visits Kuwait for Bilateral Talks

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar visited Kuwait to discuss enhancing bilateral relations and regional geopolitical developments. He met key leaders including Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah and Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, conveying greetings from India's leadership and expressing gratitude for their guidance. Discussions focused on boosting economic cooperation, particularly in trade, investments, pharmaceuticals, technology, and education. Jaishankar also met with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, discussing a broad range of topics including political, security, cultural, and people-to-people contacts. This visit comes nearly two months after a tragic fire in Kuwait that killed 45 Indians. Jaishankar engaged with the Indian community in Kuwait, commending their contributions to India-Kuwait relations.
