20-year-old Woman Killed in Navi Mumbai

Yashashri Shinde, a 20-year-old woman from Uran, Navi Mumbai, was found murdered with multiple stab wounds near a petrol pump. She had been reported missing by her family after failing to return home from a friend's house. The police suspect her boyfriend, Dawood Shaikh, who has a history of molestation charges against him filed by Shinde in 2019, and is now absconding. Her body was discovered after a tip-off, and evidence suggests she was raped before being killed. Multiple police teams have been formed to trace Shaikh, and investigations are ongoing.
