Leon Bridges Announces New Album 'Leon'

Leon Bridges has announced his fourth studio album, titled 'Leon,' set for release on October 4, 2024, through Columbia Records. This album, which follows his 2021 release 'Gold-Diggers Sound,' features the lead single 'Peaceful Place,' accompanied by a video filmed in the outskirts of Mexico City where the album was recorded. Bridges described the album as a deeply personal project that has been in the works since his childhood, focusing on themes of nostalgia and his experiences growing up in Fort Worth. He expressed that while he initially struggled to integrate certain pieces into his earlier work, he believes this album showcases some of his best material yet. 'Leon' includes 13 tracks highlighting Bridges' soulful storytelling and musical style. The album was produced by Ian Fitchuk and Daniel Tashian, both known for their work with Kacey Musgraves.
