Teen Charged with Killing Five in Fort Worth Crash

Eduardo Gonzalez, a 19-year-old charged with five counts of intoxication manslaughter, has been released on a $150,000 bond following a deadly crash in Fort Worth that killed Willie Gunn, his girlfriend Amber Hopewell, and her three children, aged 2, 4, and 9. Gonzalez's bond conditions include wearing an alcohol-detecting ankle monitor and installing an ignition interlock device in any vehicle he drives. The crash occurred on August 19 when Gonzalez's Camaro rear-ended the victims' sedan, which then caught fire, and police noted signs of his intoxication at the scene. Formal identification of the victims is pending due to the condition of their remains, with DNA testing required for four of them.
