Philadelphia's Avenue of the Arts is undergoing a $100 million beautification project to revamp South Broad Street with new landscaping, sculptures, art installations, and outdoor performance spaces over a 10-block stretch. Led by Avenue of the Arts, Inc., the initiative aims to create a vibrant, green arts park by spring 2026, coinciding with the city's 250th birthday celebrations. The project, funded through a mix of public and private investments, includes plans for enhanced lighting, seating areas, and sidewalk improvements, transforming the area into a lush boulevard.
