Three Dead in Delhi Building Collapse

A tragic building collapse in northwest Delhi's Jahangirpuri area resulted in the deaths of three individuals and injuries to four others. The incident occurred during repair work on a two-storey structure housing multiple factories, including a garment production unit. Emergency services received the call around 12:51 PM, leading to a rapid response with five fire tenders and local police on-site for rescue operations. Among the deceased was Mukesh Kumar, 45, who succumbed to injuries after being rescued, while two others, including a woman, were pronounced dead at the hospital. Rescue efforts are ongoing, as officials fear that more victims may still be trapped beneath the debris. This collapse is part of a worrying trend, as heavy rainfall has caused numerous building collapses in Delhi recently.
