Browns to Activate Nick Chubb’s Practice Window
The Cleveland Browns are set to receive a significant boost as star running back Nick Chubb is expected to return to practice on Wednesday, following his recovery from a major knee injury sustained in Week 2 of the previous season. Head coach Kevin Stefanski confirmed that Chubb's practice window will open, giving the team 21 days to activate him to the active roster or place him back on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list for the remainder of the season. Chubb, who has undergone two surgeries to repair his ACL, MCL, and meniscus, has been diligently working on his rehabilitation and is eager to return, although Stefanski did not speculate on a specific return date to game action. The Browns, currently 1-3, are in dire need of Chubb's contributions as they struggle offensively, ranking 23rd in the NFL in rushing yards. Chubb's return could be pivotal in turning their season around.
