Dushyant Chautala, former Deputy Chief Minister of Haryana, was fined Rs 2,000 by Faridabad traffic police for riding a motorcycle without a helmet during a political rally. The event took place on August 25, where Chautala participated in a bike rally organized by the Jannayak Janata Party (JJP), along with around 70 supporters, many of whom were also not wearing helmets. In total, 15 challans were issued for this violation, and police seized 14 motorcycles involved in the event. Chautala acknowledged his mistake, explaining that he only rode for a short distance at the request of his supporters. He emphasized the importance of adhering to traffic rules, while police reiterated their commitment to enforce regulations regardless of the violator's status. Meanwhile, Chautala's party is gearing up for the upcoming Haryana elections, having formed an alliance with the Azad Samaj Party.
