Multiple JJP, JMM Leaders Join BJP

In a significant political shift ahead of the upcoming elections, several former leaders from the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) have joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). In Haryana, ex-JJP leaders Anoop Dhanak, Ram Kumar Gautam, and Jogi Ram Sihag were welcomed into the BJP by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini during a rally in Jind. Concurrently, in Jharkhand, former Chief Minister Champai Soren and former MLA Lobin Hembrom also joined the BJP, citing dissatisfaction with their previous party's leadership and policies. This wave of political realignment is seen as a strategic boost for the BJP as it prepares for the upcoming assembly elections in both states. Key figures like Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma and Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan were prominently involved in the inductions, emphasizing BJP's commitment to regional development and tribal welfare. The defectors praised BJP's leadership and policies, particularly those of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
