Coldplay Announces 10th Album 'Moon Music' with Eco-Friendly Release

Coldplay has announced their 10th studio album, 'Moon Music,' set to release on October 4, with its first single, 'feelslikeimfallinginlove,' premiering this Friday. The album, produced by Max Martin, will feature vinyl records made from recycled plastic bottles, including a special edition using 70% plastic intercepted from Guatemala's Rio Las Vacas by The Ocean Cleanup. This eco-friendly initiative aims to reduce carbon emissions by 85% and prevent the manufacture of 25 tonnes of virgin plastic. CD copies will also be environmentally conscious, made from 90% recycled polycarbonate, reducing emissions by 78%. The band's ongoing efforts to lower their environmental impact include a 59% reduction in CO2e emissions from their current tour compared to their previous one.
