KVS Manian Appointed CEO of Federal Bank
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has approved the appointment of Krishnan Venkat Subramanian (KVS Manian) as the new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Federal Bank, effective September 23, 2024, following the conclusion of Shyam Srinivasan's term. Manian, who previously served as Joint Managing Director at Kotak Mahindra Bank until April 30, 2024, brings extensive experience in corporate, commercial, and private banking, as well as asset reconstruction. His tenure at Kotak Mahindra Bank was marked by significant advancements in technology and transaction banking capabilities. Federal Bank had applied for this approval on May 6, 2024. Manian holds an electrical engineering degree from IIT (BHU) and a postgraduate degree in financial management.
