Connor Bedard Wins Calder Trophy
Chicago Blackhawks' Connor Bedard won the Calder Memorial Trophy as the NHL's top rookie with 1,808 points, outpacing Minnesota Wild's Brock Faber, who finished second with 1,464 points. Bedard, the youngest player in Blackhawks history to win the award, led all rookies with 22 goals and 61 points despite missing 14 games due to injury. Faber had an impressive season with eight goals, 39 assists, and 150 blocks. Nathan MacKinnon of the Colorado Avalanche won both the Hart Memorial Trophy for MVP and the Ted Lindsay Award for the most outstanding player.
