Lynx Trade for Mystics' Myisha Hines-Allen
The Minnesota Lynx have acquired forward Myisha Hines-Allen from the Washington Mystics in exchange for guard Olivia Epoupa, forward Sika Koné, and a 2026 second-round draft pick. Hines-Allen, a key contributor to the Mystics' 2019 championship team, is averaging 8.0 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 2.7 assists this season. The Mystics promptly waived Epoupa and forward DiDi Richards following the trade. Minnesota is hoping Hines-Allen's championship experience will bolster their playoff push as they currently sit third in the WNBA standings. Washington, focusing on rebuilding, cleared Hines-Allen's salary and made room for rookie Aaliyah Edwards to play more minutes. Mystics General Manager Mike Thibault expressed gratitude for Hines-Allen's contributions and wished her well in Minnesota.
