The incident has reportedly left him with PTSD, erectile dysfunction, and significant emotional trauma, prompting him and his wife, Batia, to seek damages for the impact on their sex life. Their attorney claims the hotel was aware of prior scorpion infestations and failed to maintain a safe environment, thus breaching their duty of care. Farchi's lawsuit seeks a jury trial for compensation covering medical expenses, pain and suffering, and loss of companionship. He described the pain as akin to being stabbed and criticized the hotel staff for not taking the incident seriously. The couple's attorney has presented photographic evidence of the scorpion attached to Farchi's underwear.
