Australia Releases Travis Head from White-Ball Squad

Australia's Travis Head has been released from the white-ball squad to rest ahead of Australia's tour of New Zealand. Head will sit out the final two ODIs against the West Indies and three Twenty20s against the tourists due to poor recent form at the crease. Australia have also confirmed that pacer Xavier Bartlett will be rested from the second match following an outstanding debut against West Indies. Star quick Josh Hazlewood has been included in Australia’s ODI squad for Sunday’s match at the SCG. The decision to rest Bartlett formed part of his ongoing management after returning from a back stress injury.
