Vijay's GOAT Movie Releases September 5

Thalapathy Vijay's highly anticipated film 'GOAT' (The Greatest of All Time), directed by Venkat Prabhu, is set to release on September 5, 2024, after undergoing a second round of censoring. The final runtime of the film is now three hours and three minutes, slightly longer than its previous duration of two hours and 59 minutes, due to the addition of new scenes, including a blooper reel. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) issued a U/A certificate, requiring minor cuts and modifications, including the muting of certain language and the removal of some violent content. The film features Vijay in dual roles alongside a star-studded cast including Prashanth and Prabhu Deva. Advance ticket sales will begin on August 30, with early morning screenings scheduled for 4 a.m. in Tamil Nadu and neighboring states. 'GOAT' is marketed as a sci-fi action thriller and aims to cater to a wide audience across various theaters.
