Richard Gadd to Create HBO/BBC Drama 'Lions'

Following the success of his Netflix series 'Baby Reindeer,' Richard Gadd is set to create, write, and executive produce a new series titled 'Lions,' co-produced by HBO and the BBC. The six-episode drama will explore the relationship between two estranged brothers, spanning from their teenage years in the 1980s to the present day. The show will tackle the complex question of what it means to be a man, capturing the highs and lows of the brothers' dynamic over four decades. Gadd expressed his excitement about working with HBO, a dream of his since childhood. The series will start production in Glasgow in early 2025, with Alexandra Brodski and Eshref Reybrouck directing.
