Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy met with World Bank President Ajay Banga in Washington to discuss a partnership aimed at improving the lives of over four crore people in the state. The meeting focused on potential collaborations in skills development, urban rejuvenation, Net Zero initiatives, and citizens' healthcare, with plans to establish cross-functional teams for project development. The World Bank's support is expected to enhance key projects such as the Musi River rejuvenation, Skill University, and the Future City initiative. Both leaders expressed optimism about the collaboration and its potential impact, with a commitment to transparency and ambitious outcomes. Additionally, Telangana has signed an MoU with Corning Incorporated to advance technological innovation and workforce skills in key industries. This marks Telangana's first foray into partnerships with Bretton Woods institutions.
