Dolphins Place Beckham on PUP List
The Miami Dolphins have placed wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) List, sidelining him for at least the first four games of the 2024 season. Beckham, who signed with Miami in May, is recovering from an offseason procedure and has missed all of training camp. Head coach Mike McDaniel expressed optimism about Beckham's recovery but emphasized the importance of easing him back into action. Beckham's absence means he will miss key matchups, including games against the Jaguars, Bills, Seahawks, and Titans, with a potential return in Week 5 against the Patriots. The Dolphins' offense, led by Tua Tagovailoa and featuring star receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, will have to temporarily adjust without Beckham. McDaniel praised Beckham for his leadership despite not practicing and remains hopeful for his contribution later in the season.
