Man Suffocated by Python in Jamshedpur

In a tragic series of snake-related incidents, a 60-year-old man named Hemant Singh died of suffocation in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, after a python he was showcasing tightened its grip around his neck. Singh, who earned money by displaying the snake to onlookers, collapsed on Dimna Road, and the python was subsequently captured by a snake catcher and handed over to the forest department. In a separate incident, a Russell's viper caused the death of a 41-year-old man in Bihar, whose body was found with the snake hidden in his clothes for 16 hours until it was discovered during cremation. Additionally, a 3.5-feet-long Forstens cat snake was rescued from an apartment fan in Thane, highlighting the ongoing challenges of human-wildlife interaction exacerbated by environmental conditions.
