BYD Launches Three New Variants in India

Chinese electric carmaker BYD is expanding its presence in the Vietnamese market by introducing three new models in October and planning to increase dealerships to 100 by 2026. The company has launched its first three electric models in Vietnam, targeting Southeast Asian markets with fewer trade barriers. In addition to Vietnam, BYD has introduced a new variant of its compact electric SUV Yuan Up in China, offering a longer range at a slightly higher price. In India, BYD has updated its Atto 3 electric SUV lineup with three new variants, aiming to provide more affordable options and increase its market share. BYD India has also launched innovative initiatives like the BYD EV INNOVATE-A-THON to promote sustainability and innovation among engineering students in the country, further solidifying its position in the EV sector.
