This piece, depicting a running Space Invader figure in colors matching the Olympic signage, is his 1,512th installation in Paris and part of his ongoing contributions to street art since the 1990s. An anonymous representative stated that the artwork aims to commemorate the Games, and it has been cataloged in Invader's app, 'Flash Invaders,' which engages fans in a scavenger hunt for his pieces. Despite the illegal nature of his work, Invader enjoys considerable support, with Paris officials recognizing his contributions to the city's art scene. His mosaics have gained global popularity, with over 4,000 artworks displayed worldwide. The app has attracted nearly 400,000 players, turning the hunt for Invader's art into an addictive experience.
