Ryan Lowe Leaves Preston North End

Preston North End manager Ryan Lowe has left the club by mutual consent after just one game into the new Championship season, following a 2-0 defeat to Sheffield United. Lowe, who joined Preston in December 2021, guided the club to 13th, 12th, and 10th-placed finishes during his tenure. Chairman Peter Risdale confirmed that the decision for a change was made after discussions on Sunday, August 11. Mike Marsh, assisted by Peter Murphy and Ched Evans, will temporarily manage the team for upcoming fixtures against Sunderland and Swansea City. The club has expressed gratitude for Lowe's hard work and dedication and will announce longer-term management plans next week.
