Teenager Arrested After Stabbing Five in Turkey

An 18-year-old man named Arda K. has been arrested after he live-streamed a stabbing attack on five people at an outdoor cafe in Eskisehir, Turkey, on Monday. Wearing a helmet, mask, and a bulletproof vest adorned with neo-Nazi symbols, the assailant attacked individuals relaxing after prayers at a nearby mosque. Two victims are reported to be in critical condition, while the attacker was detained following a police chase. Reports suggest he may have been influenced by video games, and he was also armed with an axe, although it was not used. Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that an investigation is underway into the incident. Eyewitness accounts indicate that many of the victims were elderly men, attacked from behind during the rampage.
