Many reported disruptions to their daily lives, with complaints ranging from inability to sleep to experiencing migraines due to the bass-heavy music. Inglewood Mayor James T. Butts acknowledged the noise issues and stated that adjustments would be made for future events after discussing concerns with festival organizers. The festival, which featured artists like Nelly Furtado and Disclosure, attracted around 70,000 attendees but drew significant backlash for its sound levels. The El Segundo Police Department urged residents not to call 911 about the noise, clarifying that it was a known issue. Organizers of the event confirmed they were monitoring sound levels and taking steps to address complaints.
