Kehlani Obtains Restraining Order Against Ex

Kehlani has been granted a temporary restraining order against ex-boyfriend Javaughn Young-White, alleging physical, verbal, and emotional abuse. The singer claims that Young-White broke through her locked bedroom door in June and verbally attacked her, blaming her for their daughter Adeya’s birth and expressing feelings of being 'trapped' by fatherhood. In her court filings, Kehlani detailed Young-White's erratic behavior, including substance abuse and poor hygiene, which she argues negatively affects their daughter. The restraining order prohibits Young-White from contacting Kehlani or Adeya and requires him to maintain a distance of at least 100 yards from them. This legal action follows Young-White's petition for full custody of their daughter, which Kehlani contests, asserting she has full custody while the restraining order is in effect. A hearing regarding the restraining order is scheduled for September 3.
