Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling
Scott D'Amore has announced the revival of Maple Leaf Wrestling, now rebranded as Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling, with inaugural events scheduled for October 19 and 20 at St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario. The shows, titled 'Forged in Excellence', will feature notable wrestlers including Raj Dhesi (Jinder Mahal), Josh Alexander, Gisele Shaw, and KUSHIDA, and will be available via pay-per-view on Triller TV. D'Amore, who was previously president of TNA Wrestling before his firing in February, aims to honor the legacy of the original Maple Leaf Wrestling, which was prominent from the 1930s to the 1980s. The revival includes plans to upload historical wrestling footage to various digital platforms. D'Amore expressed excitement for bringing back a brand that showcased wrestling legends like Lou Thesz and Ric Flair while introducing modern talents from WWE, New Japan, and AEW. This announcement coincides with D'Amore's 50th birthday, marking a significant personal milestone alongside his professional comeback.
