Separately, a Navi Mumbai builder was scammed out of over Rs 13.5 crore in a share trading scheme by cyber fraudsters who lured him over eight months. In Bengaluru, an elderly resident won a case against Mega City Developers for purchasing a site without legal rights, leading to a compensation of Rs 6.9 lakh. Additionally, a builder in Nagpur was duped of Rs 74 lakh by a trickster promising access to CSR funds. In Suffolk, Jack Doran was sentenced for scamming clients out of nearly £10,000 for work he never completed, receiving a suspended jail sentence and community service.
