A Canadian citizen, identified as Qawarshi Zakaria Adam, was shot and killed by Israeli security forces after attempting a stabbing attack at the entrance to Netiv Ha’asara, a town near the Gaza border. The suspect, who entered Israel on a tourist visa, drove to the site, exited his vehicle, and threatened security forces with a knife while shouting 'Free Palestine.' The rapid response team neutralized him, with no other injuries reported. The incident, which was deemed a terrorist attack, comes amid ongoing tensions and violence in the region, including a recent attack on Netiv Ha’asara by Hamas militants. The Israeli military is also planning operations in the Gaza Strip against Hamas militants. A 61-year-old woman was treated for severe anxiety following the attack.
