Hong Kong Strengthens Trade Ties with Cambodia

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) has launched an economic partnership with Cambodia, highlighted by a delegation visit aimed at enhancing trade relations. Cambodia is becoming an attractive alternative for manufacturers under the 'China Plus One' strategy, with Hong Kong business leaders recognizing its political stability and favorable policies. The visit aligns with Australia's increased investment focus in Cambodia, highlighted by the appointment of Carolyn Bagster as First Secretary-Investment at the Australian Embassy. Overall, Cambodia's evolving economic landscape is drawing international interest, particularly from Hong Kong and Australia, as it seeks to diversify and expand its economy.
