Duplantis, Warholm to Race 100m in Zurich

Olympic pole vault champion Armand Duplantis and 400m hurdles world record holder Karsten Warholm will compete in a 100m exhibition race on September 4 at Zurich's Letzigrund Stadium, ahead of the Diamond League meeting. This race, emerging from a friendly rivalry, will showcase both athletes' sprinting abilities despite their primary disciplines differing. Duplantis, who recently set a new pole vault world record of 6.25m in Paris, has a personal best of 10.57 seconds in the 100m from 2018. Warholm, the 400m hurdles silver medallist from Paris 2024, last clocked 10.49 seconds in the 100m in 2017.
