Dermot Mulroney as Chicago Fire
Dermot Mulroney has been cast as Chief Dom Pascal in the upcoming 13th season of NBC's Chicago Fire, premiering on September 25. Mulroney's character, who has a cheerful demeanor and a different leadership style than the previous chief, Wallace Boden, comes from a decade-long tenure as a chief in Miami before starting with the Chicago Fire Department (CFD). Eamonn Walker, who portrayed Boden for 12 seasons, exited as a series regular but may return for guest appearances following his promotion to Deputy Commissioner. The new season is set to explore the dynamics between Mulroney's Chief Pascal and the existing cast, including David Eigenberg's character, who was chosen by Boden as his successor. Alongside returning cast members, the show aims to maintain its captivating storyline while introducing fresh elements with Mulroney's character. The series continues to be produced by Universal Television in association with Wolf Entertainment.
