Deshmukh on Fadnavis

Former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has accused Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis of attempting to coerce him into filing false affidavits against key leaders of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government, including Uddhav Thackeray and his son Aaditya Thackeray. Deshmukh claimed that an intermediary sent by Fadnavis approached him with the offer to avoid legal troubles in exchange for these accusations. Fadnavis has vehemently denied these allegations, suggesting that Deshmukh's own party members possess incriminating evidence against him. Deshmukh, who spent over a year in prison due to corruption charges, stated he has evidence to back his claims but will reveal it at an appropriate time. The allegations follow previous accusations from social activist Shyam Manav, who has also implicated Fadnavis in pressuring Deshmukh.
