The Smile Cancels European Tour Due to Illness

The Smile, an English rock band featuring Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead, and Tom Skinner, has canceled their upcoming European tour due to Greenwood's serious illness from an infection that required emergency hospital treatment, including some time in intensive care. The band announced that while Greenwood is now out of danger and will soon return home, medical professionals have advised canceling all engagements until he fully recovers. The canceled tour included dates in Latvia, Poland, Germany, Austria, France, Spain, and Switzerland. Refunds for the headline shows will be available from ticket providers, and the band expressed their wishes for Greenwood's speedy recovery. The Smile had previously toured in support of their second album, 'Wall of Eyes,' released in January.
