Canada's appeal for a bronze medal in the 2022 Winter Olympic figure skating team event was denied by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), upholding the International Skating Union's (ISU) decision that Russia, despite Kamila Valieva's doping disqualification, still outperformed Canada by a single point. As a result, the United States and Japan were awarded gold and silver medals, respectively. Skate Canada expressed disappointment over the ruling but commended their athletes for their efforts. The Canadian Olympic Committee also accepted the ruling while reiterating its belief that reallocation of points should have occurred. The International Olympic Committee has scheduled a medal ceremony in Paris for the U.S. team. Canada remains without a medal from the event.
