Danny Jansen Makes MLB History

Danny Jansen made MLB history by becoming the first player to play for both teams in the same game. Originally the Toronto Blue Jays' catcher during a suspended game on June 26, he was traded to the Boston Red Sox on July 27. When the game resumed on August 26, Jansen took his position behind the plate for the Red Sox, having previously been at bat for the Blue Jays when the game was halted.
