Mathias Boe Retires as Satwik-Chirag Coach

Mathias Boe, the Danish coach of India's top men's doubles badminton pair Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, has announced his retirement from coaching. Boe cited stress and fatigue as reasons for his decision, following the duo's quarterfinal loss to Malaysia's Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik at the Paris Olympics 2024. Despite their setback at the Olympics, Boe praised Satwik and Chirag for their dedication and achievements, including a gold medal at the 2022 Commonwealth Games and the 2023 Asian Championships.
