Return to Paradise Premieres in Australia September 2024

A new Australian spin-off of the popular show Death in Paradise, titled Return to Paradise, has been announced, set to premiere on September 8, 2024. The six-part series follows DI Mackenzie Clarke, portrayed by Anna Samson, who returns to her hometown of Dolphin Cove after being accused of tampering with evidence while working in London. The storyline explores her struggles to reintegrate into her community, particularly after leaving her ex-fiancé Glenn (Tai Hara) at the altar six years prior. The show will feature an entirely new cast and setting, setting it apart from its predecessor and other spin-offs. Notably, former Death in Paradise star Ardal O'Hanlon is set to make a guest appearance. The spin-off is produced by Di Haddon and will be available on ABC and ABC iview.
