Denton ISD Bus Driver Fired After Investigation

A Denton ISD school bus driver has been fired following allegations of erratic driving reported by parents. The driver, who operated Bus 116 serving Evers Park Elementary, was placed on leave earlier this week after multiple complaints, including one where a mother claimed the driver closed the bus doors on her arms. Police received reports that several children hit their heads during the ride due to sudden braking. The district confirmed no children were harmed and emphasized their commitment to student safety. The police investigation is ongoing, but no charges have been filed against the driver. Denton ISD stated they take such incidents very seriously and prioritize safe transportation for students.
