GMC Unveils Robust 2025 Terrain Redesign

GMC has unveiled a comprehensive redesign for its 2025 Terrain compact SUV, integrating new technology, safety features, and a rugged aesthetic inspired by the brand's larger models. The new Terrain will feature a standard 1.5-liter turbocharged engine producing 175 horsepower and 203 lb-ft of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive. Key updates include a simplified trim lineup, with the Elevation trim launching first, followed by the AT4 and Denali trims in 2025, each offering specific enhancements like off-road capabilities and luxury features. The interior now boasts a 15-inch infotainment screen and an 11-inch digital gauge cluster, both standard across all trims. Additionally, the 2025 model introduces a more squared-off exterior design, enhanced visibility, and advanced safety features, aiming to compete more effectively in the crowded compact crossover market. The Terrain's redesign aligns it closer to GMC's other rugged models, such as the Acadia and Yukon, offering a more cohesive brand aesthetic.
