GMC has unveiled a comprehensive redesign for its 2025 Terrain compact SUV, integrating new technology, safety features, and a rugged aesthetic inspired by the brand's larger models. The new Terrain will feature a standard 1.5-liter turbocharged engine producing 175 horsepower and 203 lb-ft of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive. Key updates include a simplified trim lineup, with the Elevation trim launching first, followed by the AT4 and Denali trims in 2025, each offering specific enhancements like off-road capabilities and luxury features. The interior now boasts a 15-inch infotainment screen and an 11-inch digital gauge cluster, both standard across all trims. Additionally, the 2025 model introduces a more squared-off exterior design, enhanced visibility, and advanced safety features, aiming to compete more effectively in the crowded compact crossover market.
