Rajnath Singh Meets US Security Advisor Sullivan

During his four-day official visit to the United States, Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh met with US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan to discuss key strategic matters, including evolving geopolitical situations and ongoing defence industrial collaborations between the two nations. Singh emphasized India's readiness to embrace US investment and technology partnerships, highlighting the country's skilled workforce and favorable business ecosystem. He also interacted with senior leaders from US defence firms at a roundtable organized by the US India Strategic Partnership Forum, urging them to collaborate with Indian partners to expedite the Make in India initiative. This visit follows the signing of two agreements aimed at strengthening the US-India global strategic partnership. Singh's discussions included the importance of deepening defence cooperation and enhancing the strategic partnership through various engagements. Furthermore, he met with US Secretary of Defence Lloyd Austin to review and strengthen existing defence cooperation activities.
