Fenerbahce has signed Moroccan forward Youssef En-Nesyri from Sevilla on a five-year contract, marking a record transfer fee of 19.5 million euros ($21.2 million), the highest in Turkish Super Lig history. En-Nesyri, who scored 73 goals in 196 appearances for Sevilla and helped the club win two Europa League titles, also contributed significantly to Morocco's national team with 20 goals in 73 matches. His memorable header against Portugal was crucial in Morocco's historic run to the World Cup semifinals in 2022. The transfer fee will be paid in installments over four years, as confirmed by Fenerbahce in their announcement on the Turkish Public Disclosure Platform. Under the management of Jose Mourinho, Fenerbahce aims to break a nine-year title drought after finishing second in the Super Lig last season.
