Joanna Sternberg Releases 'A Country Dance'

Joanna Sternberg has released a new single titled 'A Country Dance,' which will feature in the upcoming film Between the Temples, directed by Nathan Silver and starring Jason Schwartzman and Carol Kane. The song, inspired by Sternberg's friend Sami Bronowski, is described as a playful and whimsical tune that humorously contrasts the artist's personal aversions to dancing, drinking wine, and being outdoors due to allergies and insect phobias. Sternberg believes the song fits the film's imaginative vibe, stating that its vague lyrics create a 'fun and fancy-free' mood. 'A Country Dance' is the third single released since Sternberg's album I’ve Got Me, which debuted last summer. The film is set to premiere on August 23, 2024, and Sternberg will be performing in the UK soon, including at the End Of The Road Festival.
